Emily's 3rd Birthday

Emily helped me make her Pink cupcakes, she added all the ingredients and helped to frost and add the candy tops! she was so proud of her self.

Emily had her friend Bella over .

Leslie gave her sister Ponyville pony's and a ponyville bus. Bella gave her sweet secrets locket & lipstick(its a small doll that fits in the stick)! Grandma and Grandpa Thatcher gave her three books Picture Dictionary,encyclopedia and a animal, they are great!

From Aunt Camea and family A cute kitty purse and a Frog that she put together (Loved it)

Grandam and Papa Guerry gave her a CPK Doll that has her same Birthday!

Then we got her My Little Pony 25th Birthday Celebration ponys, and also a Brbie Wildlife Doctor! so all in all she had a great birthday!

Christmas

We had our Christmas with the girls early this year,

it was fun letting them open their gifts early but it just did not seem like Christmas, next year we will have leslie at Christmas so it will be all right .

the girls in matching P.J'S and Our Tree after Santa came, the girls each got a new scooter , helmets and then A.G Dolls and santa made them each a blanket for the dolls. Emily also got a mermaid waterslide for the tub that she loves!

Well now I belive I am caught up in all the photos (i hope) next will be Emilys Birthday! today is her birthday just have not put the photos on the laptop or the computer yet! I am using the laptop now and it is so nice things work !! hope you all had a great Christmas and Have a Great New Year!

At the Space Needle

After seeing Camea and Family we went to the Space Needle the girls had fun riding to the top!

While we were at the top Santa was there! and the girls got to see Santa agein!

They had a craft area where they were making Christmas Trees, so my little Elfs wore theirs like hats!

It was a foggy day and we were not able to see much unless you looked stirght down, but I love this view from the ground up!

for some reason every time I click on the photo icon I get a error on page! not sure why! there
are some times it just comes up, and others well not so lucky! I will keep trying and I might get Lucky.

Well on a good note we have the internet all the time now!! My visitng teaching companion well her husband works for "Com" on base (with the phone and other things) he came over and took a look and we found out that the problem is with the house! so we have the phone cord running up the hallway, into the girls bathroom and out the window! and its run right into the house !

It is now a week tell Emily 3rd Birthday! and today she was in our room and saw her B-Day gifts and wanted to open them right then and there!

12 Day's tell Leslie comes home!

Leslie this morning left to go with her Mom to OKlahoma for Christmas Break. Emily took a liking to Cyndy. Emily was so sad to see both her sister and "sissy mommy" leave this morning. Brad will be going to get Leslie on the first Jan. We will be so glad to have her home. About 5 mins after they left, Emily had finally calmed down, I said to Brad that its too quiet in the house. We had Christmas with the girls before Leslie left and then Santa will come on Christmas eve. It was nice doing Christmas early but it was not like having it on the 25th at least its only every other year that leslie is not with us for the Big Day! We will miss her and her happy smily face , 12 days tell she comes home.

Well we are in Oregon, Just had a wonderful "Christmas Dinner" with the Stanley family! It was great seeing Moms side of the family. Yesterday we were up In Wash. with Camea and her extended family! For Evelyn's Birthday and the Blessing of Stella. it was so great to see her and her family. this morning we went to see the Space needle and it was all cloudy but fun we will have to try agein later, while up in the needle Santa was there and the girls made trees and got candy canes. when we get home I will get the photos up.

Heading to Oregon!

Well the girls and I are going to be flying in to Portland on the 24th (so happy!) Brad has to work and I have not been home for a Thanksgiving I think the last one I went to was back in 2002. so It will be great to be home see family see the snow on Mt. Hood, Sisters. take the girls to the Portland Zoo again see the Zoo lights, go to the new children's museum where the old OMSI was , and take the girls to OMSI. then while we are up in Wash. State go to the Space Needle and maybe walk down to Pikes Place Market if we have time.
Camea and her family will be up at Claytons family so we are driving up to see them. Evelyn's birthday and see Stella for the first time! SO SO HAPPY ABOUT THAT! the only niece's or Jared's boys have seen right after beaning born was Andrew and he will be 9 next year. so it will be great.
then on the 2nd of DEC. we will board a plane at 6am for Oakland then to Phoenix around 11am so that is not that bad, then we will drive home and get Leslie ready for School the next day,

Oh got a call from Anna yesterday all the way form Scotland, it was nice hearing from her , she was felling a bit home sick, and she was calling to let me know about the New J.K. Rowling's book coming out DEC 4th and I guess Jared said that there is a leather one or one other one and how much it will weight . I am having my Brother buy me the book .

Well once we got home I thought that I should call Qwest and have them send a new installation disk, they are but the guy told me how to do it so I am now able to be online at home agein.yah
oh by the way CAMEA had her baby today around 3something she told me but can't rember, she and Stella are both doing great!

Problems with the internet

I would like to put up photos of the girls at Halloween but our internet has not beed working right now! so right now the girls and I are at the BX using the wifi so nice but wish the girls were not with me Ice Cream to keep them good while I check Email and pay bills online. oh well Just about finished . I hope to call Qwest tomorrow and see if they can send out a nother start up disk and I hope that will fix the problem. hope to have the photos up soon I will have to put them on Brads laptop then I will be able to get them up.

Picking the Pumpkins

The Girls getting there pumpkins this year. with brad wroking agein this year the girls and I just went up to a big tent where they have brought in the pumpkins its nice we dont have to drive too far, and its great for taking photos.
Leslie picked a big one and Emilys is shaped more like a heart! then the nice lady gave us two little pumpkins, and we also got three little white ones, the girls are looking forward to there Dad craving them,

The hair cut I wish never would have come!

just a little while ago Leslie came out to where I was and in her hand was BLOND HAIR! jumped up and went to Leslie's room and there with scissors in hand sat Emily, (at least its the bangs and not the ponny tail in the back!) and it looks good have not told the little one that yet.

New Projects

one of the new quilts that I am working on is a block of the month and there are two months left to get the borderand the bottom right corner.
then the quiet book that I am going to make for Emily once I am done with it anyone would would like to borrow it can .

Yummy Relish for chips

3 Large Avocados 1 Large purple onion
3 Tomatoes cilantro
1 16oz can black beans and whole kernel corn
1 cup (I like 1/2 cup) ltalian dressing , lime

drain and rinse black beans, drain corn, chop onions, tomatoes and avocados.
combine in bowl and add dressing and chopped cilantro to taste.

While leaving the zoo Emily was saying that she wanted to go back in and see it all again! so the whole family will be going back soon!

Reid Park Zoo

On Tuesdays a group of us from church have a play day for the kids, once a month we do more then go to the park! and today was the zoo! Emily loves the zoo At the Tiger pin then to the Elephants

here is a Turtle (the large one) is over 50 years old and not sure if you can see the hand under it , well they were trying to get the egg out of it! while we were watching the egg had not droped yet.

Emily is petting a Blue toung skank, from Australa , she loved it! she also was able to pet or tuch a turtle a little one.

Tuesday once we took the splint off

also from Tuesday , the swelling is just about gone now still have a bit on the ankle. and the bruising not as dark any more, I am walking around with out the splint on , it still hurts but it is nice not having it on.

What happens when you skip church!

On Sunday around 3:30 while filling the water jugs at the Old Shoppett , I was stepping off the curb when my left foot stepped in a (what felt like a huge pothole) small dip in the pavement and I rolled my ankle and fell flat on my face!

Brad and Emily were in the car. Leslie was helping me with the water. The two water jugs that I was caring went flying across the pavement. I have scrapes on both palms of my hands ( the left is worse the the right) Lucky I had on jeans so that saved my knees. My right one has three small bruises on it from the (I believe) three small rocks I fell on, and then my left ankle is HUGE and swollen with bruising on the inside and out side of my ankle,

On the way home from hurting myself Brad asked if I wanted to go to the ER and I said no, that if in the morning I was still in pain and could not walk on it then I will go, (and the last Yankees Home game was on). So that night I iced my ankle and went to bed after the game,
around 2 in the morning I had to get up beause my ankle was throbbing and I needed to use the bathroom. I kind of hopped to the bathroom, and was in so much pain that I crawled back to the bed. By this point I was in so much pain that I was making too much noise and woke up Brad with my whimpering. He got me another icepack and some codeine and said that I slept great after that!

In the morning I called the base Dr. and since I have no Dr. on base they sent me to the ER. We dropped off Emily at a friends house. I got to ride in a wheel chair! and had X-Rays done , when I saw the Dr, she said it was just a bad sprain and they put on a splint and gave me crutches. I am now able to walk on my foot I think a good part is due to the splint. Last night we took it off so I could shower and that is when I saw all the bruising on my ankle that was not there when we went to the ER.! I should be off my foot, like not walking at all, for the next two days but with an almost 3 year old and Brad working all day and Leslie at school that is not going to happen .

Before all this happened we had a wonderful day spending it with our Family ! we took the girls to get the Hannah Montana Build a bear! and got Leslie's Halloween outfit!

BUG EYE'S

This past weekend we went up to Bards parents, and the girls found the play glasses! Emily and Leslie had so much fun playing with them! Just the faces the girls have are so funny!
